The manga gave a better back story / set up to what was going on. With out that this is kinda floating out there with not much foundation. It really is a better story than this "rushed" plot.

That one fucking arc in the manga TOOK FUCKING ETERNITY to end, it didn't even end, it was like 20 or so chapters and was boring as fuck, a simple goddamn boss battle against an old friend turned into a yandere raging necrophiliac homosexual dude that wants to fuck Setsu's dead corpse or something. Holy fuck, that whole arc was cringe. None of the so-called tough shit (Leviathan and Demon Lord (lady?) did anything in that battle, only some newbie highschool girl kinda scared the twink). It was shit and Setsu took forever to wake up and when he woke up it took author forever to make him actually do something. It was an utter shit show. I just hope this anime won't do that shit and give us a better action.

Zero setup (the synopsis gave more info than 3 episodes did), zero backstory ("It's my second time isekai'd" isn't enough), zero content (a dash of tropes here and there)... What's there to stay for? The few tropes they have weren't even very funny. I'm finding it hard to see anything worth coming back for. I might watch more if I'm lacking anything else but not likely.

Edit: Why does it matter that he's even isekai'd here a 2nd time? Plenty of isekais have just made the MC stupid strong without the need for a vague reference... that doesn't even seem to play much role in the story except the vague initial reference.
